Today, Edinburgh had something it's seen very little of thus far this summer: a full day of sunshine. However, I couldn't think of anywhere interesting to go and didn't manage to persuade myself to leave the house until after 7pm, when I decided to use the excuse of a shopping mission to Tesco at Duke Street to go for a trundle around on the trams ( Read more... )

Something very unusual - especially for this time of year - happened today: Edinburgh had clear blue skies and sunshine. It was even quite warm.
